Murphy’s opponent is RNC-backed, former Governor Robert Ehrlich, while Joe Miller is on the brink of upsetting incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski. Although both Murphy and Miller were shut out by the party establishment, both have received Governor Sarah Palin’s endorsement.
